Metro Police is talking about moving its headquarters to a new location on Murfreesboro Pike because the current HQ is in such disrepair. The previous plan to move it to Jefferson Street fell apart after strong opposition from North Nashville neighbors, but this plan seems to be going a little better:

If approved, the new building would be next door to the city’s Family Justice Center that is already under construction on the site.
