Humorist Roy Blount Jr. to say funny things at the library

Famous for his 24 books and his frequent appearance as a panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, funnyman Roy Blount Jr. will be visiting Nashville to promote his latest tome.

The event, part of [email protected], happens at on March 22 at 6:15 in the auditorium at the library’s main branch.  Tickets are “free” (there’s a $2.50 fee for getting them early, which you may want to do for such a popular author) and can be snagged online or at the door (if there are any left).  You can also get your copy of his latest book signed, but only if you bought it from a certain Nashville bookstore.

Other authors visiting the [email protected] series this spring include Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Kate DiCamillo, Louise Erdrich, and Richard Russo.
